August 19, 2010—AAEOP Meeting
It is time to vote. . . on contract ratification, that is. Your negotiations team and the district have dedicated many hours to finding common ground and it is now time for you, as an AAEOP member, to vote on the contractual changes that will be presented Thursday, August 19, the the ratification meeting. Your vote IS important! The meeting begins at 3 p.m. (educational office professionals will be released to attend), and will be held in the north cafeteria at Auburn High School. If you enter through the PAC lobby, this is the cafeteria at the north end of the lobby.
Please do not miss this meeting. Not only is it important for you to understand what contractual changes are being proposed, it is essential that you have the opportunity to express your opinion through your vote. See you at 3 p.m., August 19, in the north cafeteria at Auburn High School!
Fall 2010—Harvest Bunco Night with AAEOP
Have a blast--attend another AAEOP fundraising event! Watch for details and tell your friends to plan to come with you. The fundraising committee says this WILL be an evening filled with fun. Reservation flyers and more details will be available in August. For now, take a look at the fundraising page of this site for information to support your plans to attend this function.
AAEOP's "kick off" fundraising event of the 2010-11 year will be filled with hot dice, tasty tidbits, enjoyable company, and the opportunity to contribute to continuing edcuation in a BIG way. There will be raffle and/or silent auction items available for your bidding and/or ticket-buying pleasure.
For your planning purposes:
- Pair up with a friend and the two of you, when you register on the same form, will attend for less.
- If you and three friends want to start out at the same table and save money, register on the same form ("buy" a table) and the four of you will save even more!
Reservation flyers will be sent soon. This is just one event that will help YOUR association earn money for scholarships/continuing education.
