Fundraising
Congratulations to Sandi Thompson. Sandi won the drawing at the AAEOP general meeting (April 20) and $64 was deposited in the AAEOP account for continuing education. Remember, the primary purpose of fundraising is to provide continuing educational opportunities (including scholarships) in the Auburn School District.
Pass the word AAEOP. . . will soon be hosting a rolling (dice that is!)-good-time fundraiser. . . Bunco Night with AAEOP! The evening will be filled with hot dice, tasty (and filling) tidbits, enjoyable company, and the opportunity to contribute to continuing education in a BIG way!
As details unfold, the fundraising committee will keep you posted. Meanwhile. . . be watching for your reservation form (they will be available soon), tell your Buncoing Buddies about this event, and plan to have a rolling good time with AAEOP, this fall! There will be plenty of snacks! In addition, there will be raffle items and/or silent auction items available for your bidding and/or ticket-buying pleasure. For your planning purposes:
- Pair up with a friend and the two of you, when you register on the same form, will attend for less.
- If you and three friends want to start out at the same table and save money, register on the same form ("buy" a table) and the four of you will save even more!
Comments on Shop 'til You Drop were positive and we look forward to planning another opportunity for people to support AAEOP in this way. Visit websites and/or contact the listed vendors for a chance to shop "after-the-fact" and to support vendors who generously supported AAEOP.
- Amway/Quixtar (click Art and Anne Valiquette to order online) - If you order on-line, use IBO# 1352067. After you order, contact or Pam or Cris to establish yourself as someone associated with AAEOP. Art and Anne donate a generous portion of their profit from these orders right back to AAEOP. Thank you Art and Anne!

Congratulation to Lisa Taylor, of Tumwater, for winning AAEOP's latest raffle! Lisa took home the "ultimate" Shop 'til You Drop raffle basket November 13. Each vendor donated an item from their product line so the "basket" winner went home with a representation of the entire event. Lisa, thanks for shopping with AAEOP and supporting our fundraising efforts.
Many thanks to vendors and customers who participated in AAEOP's Shop 'til You Drop!
